Our Story
I spent 25 years in the Air Force, and military life was hard on our marriage. We wanted to provide a peaceful home for our children, but we kept drowning in resentment and anger.
We started couples therapy after my first military deployment, but it didn’t help much. After working with five different couples therapists, we were still arguing and avoiding each other most of the time.
Our sixth therapist was different. She seemed to understand exactly what was going on in our marriage, and she told us exactly what we we needed to change to have a better marriage. She was trained in an approach I had never heard of, something called “Crucible Therapy.”
This new kind of therapy was like a breath of fresh air. It only took us a few weeks to work through problems that had stumped all of our other therapists.
I became a Crucible Therapist to help couples the way our therapist helped us. My goal is to help you see concrete improvement after every single session.
A Different Kind of Couples Therapy
Crucible Therapy helps couples solve the problems that make marriage miserable.
Unlike traditional couples therapy, crucible therapy focuses on personal growth and personal responsibility.
Crucible Therapy can help you work through:
Communication problems: stop arguing and start communicating.
Infidelity: Feel heard, feel understood, and start rebuilding trust.
Intimacy issues: Rekindle sexual desire and solve sexual problems
Narcissism: overcome personality problems that destroy relationships

Sexual problems are normal in long-term romantic relationships. If you have been together with your partner for more than a few years, there is a very high probability that you have already encountered sexual problems.
I have extensive postgraduate training focused on helping couples improve sexuality and work through differences in sexual desire.

The person you trusted most, the one you shared your life with, has betrayed you in the most intimate way. You feel foolish for not seeing the signs earlier. You’re questioning every moment of your relationship, wondering if any of it was real. You want to move forward, but you don’t even know where to start.
Emotional affairs can be just as damaging as physical affairs because they create a breach of trust and cause both partners t reconsider their commitment to the relationship.
